In the center of Rome, in a very comercial area which is near Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona and Piazza Venezia, is where this apartment is situated, on the first floor of a very historical building from the 17th century that doesn't have an elevator.
The entrance of the apartment leads into a hallway that goes into the living room. It is quite spacious, with a high ceiling and two large windows that allow the light to filter in delicately. The ceiling is a beautiful composition of large wooden beams and the floors are made of "terracotta” tiles. Both create a warm, cozy environment, yet, at the same time, you also sense a delicate touch of “antiqueness”, thanks to the furniture that has been chosen to decorate the environment. There is an individual sofa bed, a round wooden table, with its chairs, but the main attraction in this room is the beautiful antique wardrobe made out of dark wood.
The first bathroom comes with a shower and hair dryer. The master bedroom has a large double bed, and its own bathroom, complete with another large and comfortable shower and hair dryer. The second bedroom has a sofa bed from where two individual beds come out. In this room a short easy staircase goes up to the loft, where a second double bed has been placed. Here the roof is also lovely, all made out of long wooden beams and it is quite low, therefore you have to be careful in not standing up so that you avoid bumping your head.
The kitchen is an individual room, with a small balcony. It is quite modern and complete with everything needed to cook. It has a large fridge, with an individual freezer, a gas stove with 4 burners, an oven and a washing machine. There is even a small table that can be used to have fast meals if in need.
The apartment has air conditioner, independent heating system, TV and iron. It is ideal for 7 people.
Location: Piazza Navona
The area known as Corso Vittorio Emmanuele is famous for connecting Lungo Tevere with Piazza Venezia. In 3 minutes you can walk to Campo di Fiori, and in 5 minutes to Piazza Navona. The street is always busy, filled with people strolling about, browsing the many shops or sitting in cafes. Once you reach Piazza Venezia, you can walk along i Fori Imperiali and go towards the Colosseum, or you can go up to the Campidoglio.
From here you can also go into Via del Corso and enjoy all the various shops, reaching then the Spanish Steps, or go towards Fontana di Trevi. Or you can also go towards the Pantheon.
This truly is the very heart of Rome. If walking isn't exactly your cup of tea, you can decide for one of the many buses that stop along this thoroughfare and head to just about anywhere in the city.
