This apartment is one of the series of 10 apartments that are situated on the third floor of a very modern and quite enigmatic building, which before was Mulino Pantanella of Rome. Now totally restructured, it can be considered as an illustration of "industrial architecture” in our marvelous city.
The apartments are all charming, perfectly modern, with an interesting view on the ancient Roman city walls. They all have large windows, well-refined marble floors and birch and oak wooden doors.
This one, an example of seven other ones which are exactly the same, has an up to date open kitchen area, with an induction stove made of four burners, a standard size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and an innovating microwave. The master bedroom is quite spacious, with a Queen-size bed and the bathroom comes with a shower box. The living room is composed of a large comfortable double sofa bed, a fantastic flat LCD where you can enjoy satellite TV in many languages and the dining table with its set of chairs.
It is all decorated with extremely good taste: lovely light colors are tastefully matched with warm furniture and marble floors. This apartment is located in a very strategic point of Rome. It is situated only a few meters from Porta Maggiore, close to the Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and the Basilica di San Giovanni. Termini is only 1 km away and in 10 minutes by foot you can reach the University, and the Policlinico Umberto I. San Lorenzo, a very trendy neighborhood of Rome, full of restaurants, pubs and live music is also only 10 minutes away.
It is very well connected too. You can take Bus 15 at Porta Maggiore and be in Termini in less then 7 minutes. You can take the Metro A and Metro B by just walking 7 minutes, and from there you can easily head to Piazza Spagna, or the Colosseum, or the Vatican, or St. Peter's Chapel. There are also plenty of buses that pass by at Porta Maggiore so you can easily take one and go all over Rome. Besides, the area is great to reach it by car. It is quite easy to park it and the building has garages available at decent prices.
