Description
The apartment is a lovely 85sqm flat, full of sunlight and quite new. Located on the fourth floor of a building that dates back to the 30's, and doesn't have an elevator, it has the fantastic advantage of having a wonderful terrace on the roof and a second terrace on the same floor going outwards from the living room. They both offer a magnificent view over the Vatican dome and the Roman roof tops, so famous in the pictures and calendars!
The apartment is spacious and cozy. It has one master bedroom with a double bed, a lovely bathroom with a large bath tub, a thoroughly modern kitchen, a dining area that can sit six people comfortably, and the living room which is fully equipped with TV, stereo and DVD. Near the dining table, there is a single bed which is shaped as a bench, where the third person can sleep quite comfortably. It is decorated with up to date furniture, and it is well taken care of. The owner has lived in it until recently therefore it has a lot of personal touches that give it a "lived in” feeling, a warm environment to be in.
The apartment comes with washing machine, iron and ironing table and hair dryer and autonomous heating system. Though it is an attic, during the winter it is warm and sunny, and during the summer there is a gentle and refreshing breeze. It is ideal for 3 people.
It is available also for 2 nights, if during the week end. If interested please contact our staff.
Location: St. Peter's Chapel Station
The area is very quiet and full of charm composed of small dead-end streets that overlook the Vatican. On the same street where the apartment is located, you will find lots of small stores, shops, bar and food market. There is only local traffic, and though the street itself is not very touristic, there is lots of movement due to its proximity to the Vatican City, which is 10 minutes away.
A quick 5 minute walk takes you to one of Rome's main train stations, St. Peters, with direct connections to the airport. Another option is taking bus no. 64, which takes you directly to Termini and connections to other parts of the city. There are also other bus lines: 34-46-46/-64-98-881-916-982 that take you everywhere in center of Rome. It is a lovely area, and you can easily move either by foot, walking towards Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Via del Corso, or going towards Trastevere.
