This charming studio-apartment is located in a quiet street in Trastevere, one of the most popular areas in Rome and is ideal for two people who want to be in the heart of historical Rome but away from the bustle. The building features the typical architecture of the 19th century and has an elevator. The apartment is located on the second floor.
It is split on two levels by a honey coloured wooden structure , giving a very warm and intimate feel. The upper level has a sleeping area with one double futon-bed and a studio area with a modern desk and a sofa bed which can easily be rolled out to welcome a third guest. The living area downstairs has a sofa and a table with 4 chairs and shelves full of books and magazines for you to use and browse while you are here, just to make you feel more at home.
The independent kitchenette is equipped with a small stove with 3 burners, a small fridge, a dish washer and the basics utensils for a meal, so you can enjoy some pleasant eating at home but if you plan a week of extensive cooking, the kitchen may get a bit crowded. The bathroom is in a relaxing light blue colour with a sink, a toilette, a bath tub and a hair dryer. In the small balcony facing the interior courtyard, there is a washing machine and a freezer. Please note that the kitchen and the upper level have lower ceilings, so be careful not to bump your head!
The owner speaks Italian, English, French and some Spanish and is always available to share suggestions, ideas, itineraries, providing a list of events in Rome and help with travel arrangements.
The apartment comes with an iron and an ironing board, air conditioner and independent heating system.
Small and cozy, this apartment is highly recomended for lovers of a charateristic and intimate atmosphere, in the heart of one of the oldest and more popular areas in Rome.
For the period of Easter and New Year's Eve the minimum number of nights is 5.

The apartment is located in Trastevere from where you can explore the city on foot or by bus or tram.
A short walk takes you to St. Maria di Trastevere, a beautiful church with a magnificent mosaic from the Byzantine era depicting the Virgin Mary with the Christ child. You can stroll along the many busy streets of Trastevere, known for being small and narrow and full of curious stores. The area is lovely during the day time, but really comes to life at night! Full of small pubs, delicious pizzerias and typical restaurants, you can find just about every kind of Italian dish here. Trastevere offers you a breath of Italian nightlife that is completely unique.
You can also walk across the bridge to the other side of the Tiber, where in less than 10 minutes, you arrive at the Piazza Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Walking a little further, you can head to Piazza Venezia and Piazza del Campidoglio (the Capitol Square), designed and created by Michelangelo, and then walk towards the Colosseo.
You can also walk down Via del Corso and visit Piazza Spagna and the famous Fontana di Trevi.
