This lovely apartment is on a quiet little street in one of the most popular tourist areas in Rome, the Trastevere district. This good-sized, one bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old, classic building with a wonderful facade, decorated with a Roman column. Despite its age, the building has an elevator. The whole apartment is wonderfully bright as it has 3 large double glazed windows that look out onto the lovely green Belli square.
The apartment has a spacious living room with a well-equipped kitchenette (with a coffemaker and toaster) and a sofa-bed (1 adult or 2 children). The bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. The whole apartment has wooden floors throughout and has been tastefully decorated using high-quality furniture. The other amenities this apartment has to offer are TV, a stereo, a washing machine and a microwave.

CThe apartment ist located on Via S. Bonosa at the beginning of Viale Trastevere, close to Belli Square, facing Tiberina Island and a 5 min. walk to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Old Ghetto.
This area, Trastevere, is famous and well known, a picturesque and authentic area of Rome. It is one of the oldest quarters of the city where the past remains deeply entrenched with the present. Almost all of the buildings date back to the 1500's, and the narrow, cobblestone streets give a strong sensation of the great history that this quarter has.
The prevalent atmosphere that is perceived is one of days gone by...partly because of the small, quaint shops found every where, partly because of the historic streets, and partly because of the absence of large hotels.
Trastevere also benefits from its proximity to the Janiculum Hill, a popular place to take walks. When evening comes, Trastevere awakens to an exciting nightlife. With its restaurants, bars, coffee shops and clubs, Trastevere by night offers innumerable treasures to discover. Since it is situated in the heart of the historic center of Rome, and within short walking distance to all the other zones, it is one of the favourite places to be. In fifteen minutes you can reach Saint Peter's, in ten minutes Campo de' Fiori, in fifteen minutes Piazza Navona, and in twenty minutes the Roman Forum. From Belli Square you can take the tram (10 min. ride) to the Trastevere train station where you can catch the train to and from Fiumicino Airport (20 min).
And for those who don't want to walk, you can go to Viale Trastevere, and take Tram No. 8, which goes all the way to Largo Argentina, in less than 10 minutes (right beside Piazza Venezia). Crossing the Tiber River and walking just a few minutes, you come to the main historical squares and sites of Rome, from Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona and the Pantheon to Piazza di Spagna and the Vatican.
