Via Appia is close to one of Rome’s famous churches, San Giovanni. This long street is full of stores selling jewellery, home accessories and fashion for men, women and children.

Via Tuscolana is a street that has an extensive variety of shops and since it isn’t frequented by tourists, the prices are quite reasonable. It isn’t the typical touristy site, but if you want to find good quality, fashionable clothes at local prices, then this is a good bet. It is easy to get to - just take the metro line A direction Anagnina and get off three or four stops before the end of the line. This will leave you halfway down this enormous street. Take a right and stroll down the street back towards the centre.

Local favourites include brands like Sisley, Benetton, Stefanel, Diesel, Sport Max and many others.
